Finance Manager

Are you an experienced and qualified accountant looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of London? TalentEdge are currently supporting a prodigious global hotel group who seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team.
This role offers brilliant autonomy, leading a team of 4 (qualified and part-qualified) and will aid the continuous improvement of the financial reporting and processes. Located in a modern office with excellent transport links, their office is a key support to all the business’ hotels and central functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Take ownership of the end-to-end Capex reporting process
Oversee the completion of financial statements for group entities, providing detailed review and comments to ensure timely sign-off (IFRS reporting)
Ensure implementation and compliance with core financial controls
Maintain adherence to Group Accounting Policy and recommend updates as necessary
Act as the main point of contact for the Parent Company finance team, ensuring they receive all necessary information
Manage external and internal stakeholder relationships, including auditors, actuaries, and third-party management
Lead and develop a team of four through training, appraisals, and regular one-on-one sessions
The ideal candidate:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years PQE ideally in a Group function
Strong Excel skills; experience with SAP preferred but not essential
Strong technical knowledge and experience with IFRS for producing statutory accounts for multiple entities
Proven line management experience
Hospitality and Leisure experience desirable but not essential
