ROLE: Accounts Assistant
SALARY: Up to £25,000 (some flexibility DOE)
LOCATION: Birmingham City Centre (office based)
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a leading business, based in Birmingham, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.

THE CANDIDATE: The right candidate will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience within finance, however less-experienced candidates will be considered.
Due to the nature of the business, this role is very fast paced and so the ability to work well under pressure, is a must.
The successful individual will also have strong Excel skills and a good attention to detail.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Supporting with the sales and purchase ledger, including inputting invoices, allocating payment and payment runs.
Preparing banking reports and bank reconciliation.
Processing petty cash.
Allocating and chasing debtors.
Ad hoc administrative duties.
