Job Title: Tagetik Systems Accountant - end user client
Location: London/Hybrid
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + bonus
Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Tagetik Systems Accountant to join their team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting their financial consolidation platform, CCH Tagetik, and supporting the implementation and enhancement of their broader Data Analytics landscape. As a key liaison between finance stakeholders and IT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of their financial systems and processes.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Support the implementation of a global Tagetik roll out, including assisting in requirements gathering, process design, and ensuring compliance with accounting best practices.
2. Manage the implementation process with internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
3. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for finance teams across the organisation to ensure proficient use of Tagetik across internal teams.
4. Take ownership of ongoing Tagetik development, onboarding new finance teams, and providing ongoing issue resolution and support.
5. Collaborate closely with the Data Analytics team to support data migration and analytics initiatives from CCH Tagetik and other financial platforms.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong administrative/support experience with CCH Tagetik, including a solid understanding of its functionalities and capabilities.
- Profound knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS and various Local GAAP) and their application within a global financial consolidation platform.
- Ability to effectively manage consultants to deliver optimal solutions.
- Proven self-starter with the initiative to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with finance teams across the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes and procedures, demonstrating adaptability and resilience under pressure.
Desirable:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience with various financial consolidation and budgeting and planning platforms.
- Previous experience in developing and implementing training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to champion a financial system/platform and drive user adoption.
