Are you an established Senior ER Advisor who loves the variety that ER brings day to day?
Do you champion coaching stakeholders through each and every case to take them on the journey and increase management capability ?
I am fortunate enough to be partnering exclusively with a large organisation based in Leicester to source an ER Manager into their established, well respected, HR function. You will work closely with strategic HR Business Partners to understand key people challenges in a variety of head office and blue collar business areas, and take the lead on all low level and complex ER cases for your business units.
This is an incredibly people centric business and the ability to coach and upskill stakeholders through cases to build management capability is mega important. This isn't a 'my way of the high way' type ER role. It's a technical expert that can bring anyone from a Finance Director to a Team Leader on the journey through an ER case, and make sure they are a better people manager at the end of it! Stakeholder relationships are key, and I need someone who is passionate about upskilling the wider business and sees the value in taking that extra time to coach through processes.
The role does require some travel . On average, you will spend 2 days at the head office, 1 day on the road and 2 days from home a week. However, this will vary depending on business needs and this is also a very flexible employer who champion family friendly working arrangements and encourage you to attend important assemblies and sports days!
So, what's the role?
Working in a small team of ER Managers to deliver on high volume cases from low level to complex , including disciplinary, grievances, capability, absence and attendance.
Partnering the corporate functions and blue collar business areas. Working with everyone from a Finance Director to a Team Leader
Coaching stakeholders by offering different solutions and supporting their learning journey through an ER process
Building long term relationships with stakeholders to support the people focused culture of the business
Working closely with strategic HR Business Partners
Wider project work, including any legislation changes and policy/procedure updates
Ideally, my client needs someone to start as soon as possible, therefore I am looking for candidates from both an interim and permanent angle.
