Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join a team based near Castle Donnington. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Credit Control to contribute to their dynamic finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter within agreed timescales
Allocate payments in accordance with customer remittances
Process and generate reminder letters and monthly statements
Liaise with internal departments to resolve outstanding queries
Ensure all transactions are compliant with company policies and procedures
Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience within Credit Control
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Transferable knowledge of accounting software is advantageous
Work Arrangement:
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days spent in the office and 3 days working remotely from home. The working hours alternate between 8am-4pm and 9am-5pm weekly, with a 30-minute lunch break.
