We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who will manage all aspects of the firm’s clients payroll, ensuring all payrolls are produced on a timely basis. You will be responsible for setting up an internal team, taking the lead on the design and implementation of process, technology and structure of the payroll department.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation and processing of a variety of frequency payrolls between 1-200 employees per client.
Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the sole point of contact
Leading the coordination efforts between payroll and client contacts/ departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
Reviewing changes for proper authorisation and adhere to HMRC compliance.
Communication effectively with clients; raising queries, enhancing efficiency, and building rapport.
Ensuring clients produce payrolls on a timely basis and making sure all deadlines are met.
Ensuring that all legislative requirements are complied with whilst maintaining payroll knowledge.
The successful candidate will:
Have a strong ability to use and understand the flow of transactions in standalone payroll systems.
Be experienced within a similar practice environment
Have 4+ years’ experience at a managerial level within Payroll
Be comfortable working 5 days a week at our central London office
