Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a Leighton Buzzard based company. Please note, this position is FULLY office based, with NO remote working.
Working Hours:
08.30am to 17:30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
Location:
Leighton Buzzard.
Key Responsibilities Include:
To assist Credit Control Manager with daily tasks.
Contacting debtors via telephone and email.
Sales and purchase ledger update and maintenance.
Resolving invoice queries.
Processing customer payments.
Mailing and emailing of monthly customer statements.
Processing and despatching orders.
General admin tasks.
Any other tasks which the company feels necessary to facilitate customer satisfaction, and within your capability.
Skills required:
Previous credit control experience.
Xero accounting knowledge.
A full understanding and experience of Xero accounting software and how to use it.
Knowledge of Sage.
Excel knowledge to the highest level such as data analyst, pivot tables, formatting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail - highest level.
