Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 | Bonus | Company Car & Benefits Package
Here, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales across the north east with Key Accounts and National Contracts. Being highly visible, your primary focus will be to network, building and maintaining strong business relationships, where a large amount of your time will be spent on the road, creating product and brand awareness across your territory.
In addition, you will be supported and trained by an establish team who collectively offer years of valuable knowledge, skills and experience, alongside the company’s training and development programme, to put you on course for your own professional growth and career development.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and take ownership for Key Accounts and Contract Clients
Establish strong and successful long term business relationships
Manage your portfolio of customers, ensuring excellent service is provided
Be highly visible across your region, maximising sales with your clients
High level of attention to detail and an acute understanding of your customers’ needs
Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio and increase revenue through prospecting new business channels and regaining lost business
Initiate new business with contract customers, by understanding their needs and requirements, and educating them on the products and services you can offer
Have the ability to gain a great understanding of business prospects across your territory
Ability to understand and address the unique needs of each client, creating future growth and increase revenue
Generate additional business from the range extensions, with suppliers and own brand
Monitor sales performance and activity levels. Producing monthly reports and results
Maintain price files, advise of increases, managing expectations and retaining business
Regular customer contact, acting on enquiries and resolving any challenges
Be highly organised and efficient
Candidate Requirements:
Positive mindset with a proactive approach to establishing excellent internal and external relationships
Excellent communication skills
Proven track record in managing and developing key accounts
Ability to generating sales from new and existing business
Natural flair and strong commercial acumen built within your nature
Be highly self-driven and thrive in a targeted performance culture
Previous experience within the industry sector would be advantageous
Effectively manage supplier partnerships where needed to increase efficiency
Recognise that customer satisfaction is always key to overall success
Drive outstanding customer care, anticipating customer’s needs
Ensure the customer remains priority
Identify opportunities for the organisation to expand or enhance its service
