Area Sales Manager Overview -
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for existing accounts as well as new business, given the freedom to express your creativity by exploring new markets as well as the "tried and tested" ones. Area Sales Manager responsibilities include -
View current accounts and ensure that Sales plans have been implemented across all areas.
Identify prospective customers and contact key decision-makers.
Manage a service plan that is aligned with customer requirements.
Liaise with the internal customer services team with leads and day-to-day project updates.
Retain current customer base and expand footprint through cross/up-sell opportunities.
Attend trade shows and provide product information to prospective clients.
Area Sales Manager desirable skills and experience -
Experience working within a similar role - Technical Sales, Field Sales Executive, etc.
Experience selling products to independent traders, merchants, or wholesalers.
Experience working within the Automotive (Aftermarket), or other OES sectors.
Able to showcase examples of successful strategies implemented and maintained
Communicative and Proactive work ethic.
