Document Controller
Our client work with architects and construction companies to support their procurement of specialist glazing solutions, and general homebuilding materials.
Their growth has created a new Document Controller position.
In this role you'll ensure that all project-related documents are accurately filed, tracked, and easily accessible to team members. You'll also take the lead to develop and implement their document control procedures, and will contribute to other policies and procedures as they continue to grow.
It's essential that you have experience from the construction sector in a document controller role, ideally with 'admin' level experience on a construction sector EDMS such as Aconex, or A-site, or Procore. You'll be working with Procore, and full training will be provided if you don't yet have experience with this system.
Specific responsibilities include:
Document management
Supporting Procore adoption and use throughout the company
Knowledge Management
You'll be joining a friendly and sociable team, working in a modern office environment.
The role is primarily office based in Harlow so it's essential that you live within commuting distance of Harlow - hybrid working of up to 2 days per week from home is possible.
About you
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to document control.
Proven experience as a Document Administrator or Controller in the construction industry.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with construction terminology and document types.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
