The school works with children aged from 3-19 who all have an Education Health & Care Plan (EHCP). It is very proud to have a 'Good’ Ofsted rating and is supportive of all pupils and staff.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Exeter, Devon Contract: Full-time
Requirements:
Experience working with students with SEN
Understanding of different SEN needs and strategies for support
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans
Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to meet the individual needs of students
