The key responsibilities of your new role will include:
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts (including meaningful commentary) for a small portfolio of clients
Fill the role of "part-time" accountant within these client's businesses
VAT compliance
Oversee and review the processing of invoices, payments, receipts, etc.
Updating of monthly forecasts and cashflows
Working within set budgets and time scales
Coaching and mentoring our junior staff
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in practice in a similar role and hold a professional qualification be that ACCA or ICAS. The candidate will have a strong core understanding of accounting and VAT compliance and be highly competent on all Microsoft packages, particularly word and excel. What you'll get in return
