Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and develop new business from existing clients.
Key responsibilities:
To build and maintain strong, long lasting client relationships.
· To serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
· To ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
· To develop and maintain a good understanding of the products and services that the Company offers and be able to advise others about them.
· To generate new / additional business with existing clients, including upselling and cross selling. To work to and consistently achieve sales / revenue targets as determined by the business. Monitor your own progress.
· To forecast and track key account metrics e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts. To prepare reports on account status.
· To track orders through from production to completion, liaising with suppliers to ensure jobs are completed to the deadline date.
· To monitor orders for your assigned customers and notify them of updates or changes on a timely and regular basis.
· To ensure that all required client and sales data is accurately inputted into the Company system(s).
· To check that your Client’s account balances are paid up to date and liaise with credit control to ensure terms are adhered to.
· To help deal with any client/supplier issues, ensuring that any are dealt with in a swift and efficient manner. Ensure that required procedures followed.
· To identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
· To maintain professional and technical knowledge by, for example, participating in educational webinars / workshops, undertaking research, reviewing professional publications.
· To undertake accurate and timely sales administration activities.
· To ensure that you understand and comply with all company policies and procedures in relation to health and safety at work.
· To establish and develop collaborative relationships within and across the Company
