The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will own a portfolio of construction projects from the point of sale all through delivery up to final customer handover and financial completion. You will make sure everyone works to the project scope to produce high-quality products in a safe way whilst also outperforming the budget and achieving the customer's delivery timelines. Projects will generally be short term network and asset replacements (substations/HV cables) across the North West of England.
Package:
Salary - 45-70k (dependent on experience) + overtime available
Working conditions - Hybrid (1 day in the office, 2/3 days on site, 2/3 days from home)

Selected Key Responsibilities:
Develop the Construction Phase Plan and provide clear communication of the required scope, quality specifications and timelines, along with information on all hazards, risks and controls for work
Act as point of escalation for the customer, site and office teams for delivery elements of both planning and implementing current and future projects
Project accountability for all company Health and Safety processes
Operate across the whole of the operational delivery team as a contract lead, responsible for between 1 and 5 operational subcontractor service contracts and frameworks.
Skills/Experience:
You must be trained and experienced as a project manager, coordinating resources, materials and site activities within given budgets for engineering-focused projects. You will also require the following:
Electrically biased with experience from 11kV upwards
Experienced in creating project plans using computer software such as Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Project
Gained a Higher National Certificate or equivalent qualification or have completed a formal apprenticeship within engineering
Have experience working with Low Voltage and High Voltage electrical system components, plant and equipment
Be an excellent written and verbal communicator to manage internal and external relationships coupled with good numerical skills.
