To lead a team of reporters in a busy environment, providing them with constructive feedback in order to produce work to the highest standard
To take responsibility for the end to end management of complex stories and present these daily
To manage a mix of reactive exclusive chases on the agenda, news features and long term investigations
To foster a successful team, ensuring they are meeting digital subscription goals
To manage the team schedule at reporter and news desk level
The right candidate will have
Excellent management skills and 5+ years of experience leading a busy team
Experience in digital publishing, and a willingness to develop your learning further
Experience in investigative journalism
In depth knowledge and understanding of media law and the IPSO guidelines
