Remuneration
Salary - £27,000 - £35,000
Annual performance related bonusses
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Responsibilities
Managing and supervising the import and export of goods from different global locations.
Organizing the collection process through designated transportation firms.
Working closely with clients, branch offices, international agents, and transportation providers, among other collaborators.
Providing exceptional customer service by addressing queries and ensuring timely updates.
Overseeing order tracking, invoicing, and managing pre-alerts from overseas offices and agents.
Managing Customs entries as necessary.
Monitoring shipments until their ultimate delivery.
Managing job costing and invoicing responsibilities.
Requirements
A minimum of two years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarding company.
Experience in import or export operations, including air, road, or ocean shipments.
Proficient knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
Hands-on experience with freight-related software like Cargowise, Multifreight, etc.
Exceptional customer service abilities.
