We’re collaborating with an early-stage Startup that uses tech to understand individual and population healthcare. The start-up has created a Data Analytics platform that integrates real-world health data allowing for advancements in drug development and healthcare.
They are looking for a candidate with strong experience in AWS DevOps, Terraform (and Terraform Cloud), Python, Gitlab, and 'DevSecOps'
You will form the focal point for all DevOps-focused activities within the startup, working closely with the Software and Infrastructure teams to create a true DevOps environment
You'll have experience with migrating to new cloud providers and experience in re-architecting IAC using Terraform, as well as both designing new infrastructure and maintaining/improving existing infrastructure.
For your expertise, you can expect hybrid remote working, £90,000 DOE, flexible working hours, 27 days of holiday, and more.

What we need from you
A high degree of experience with DevOps implementation
Experience with the AWS Ecosystem (serverless technologies; Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB)
Experience with Terraform
Experience with GitLab
Experience with Python
Responsibilities
Manage the cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring efficient deployment and operation of our internet services.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting tools to detect and address reliability risks, ensuring high availability and performance of services
Develop, maintain, and test backup and recovery plans
Manage data integrity through effective backup strategies and the ability to quickly restore operations
