This role will be key in providing support to the finance and operation team by completing routine financial and management accounting tasks across the group.
Responsibilities:
Accounting:
* Prepare month-end files in readiness for the month-end process
* Review and reconcile intercompany transactions
* Prepare and produce management accounts for all group companies, posting month end journals including fixed assets, depreciation, GRNI, accruals and prepayments
* Prepare financial accounts and reporting; ensuring all balance sheet items are fully reconciled
* Produce management information and key KPI performance reports as required
Fixed Assets:
* Ensure assets are capitalised through the ledger monthly
* Calculate the monthly depreciation charge following the monthly asset capitalisation
* Control the reconciliation of the fixed asset suspense account
* Ensure the Fixed Asset Registers are maintained and reconciled
* Raising of projects codes to monitor capital spend, highlighting any overspends
Further responsibilities:
* Intercompany reconciliations
* Prepare and produce VAT return schedules
* Support in preparing budgets and forecasts
* Prepare information and questionnaires for ONS submission
