We are growing our PPP (Programme And Project Partners) team and we’re actively looking for a diligent and dedicated Quality Engineer to work with our consortium partners and colleagues.
Your work will be executed under the supervision of the Project Quality Lead, ensuring consistent collaboration and outcomes across the quality team
You’ll perform quality control and quality assurance tasks, prepare standard documents and assist in contributing to the projects, as appropriate.
You’ll receive specific technical instructions and operate in accordance with Business Operating Procedures (BOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and support and guidance from the Project Quality Lead.
You’ll be able to identify any non-conformance and assist in solving problems using your developed knowledge of quality processes and procedures.
You’ll need demonstrable experience within a similar role, ideally within a busy and precise project environment.
You’ll need relevant, demonstrable industry experience, good working knowledge of standard quality principles, theories and practices.

Job Requirement
Academic, or vocational qualification i.e. ONC/HNC/HND (preferably in a related subject) or equivalent, significant and related professional experience plus accredited training qualifying towards registration (e.g. Practitioner Member) of a recognised professional institution (e.g. CQI) would be preferred
Knowledge and application of BS EN ISO 9000 series, EN12952 , PED 97/23/EC; EN1090;DIN EN ISO 3834-2 (EN 729-2) ASME I, VIII; ANSI B31 and other sector specific Quality Standards (e.g. NQA-1; GQAS; IAEA GS-R-3 for Nuclear Quality)
Knowledge and application of the QHSE Management System.
Effective application of codes and standards related to inspection requirements and Quality procedures.
Interpretation of drawings, procedures and specifications for appropriate discipline.
Specific vocational certification is preferred e.g. IOSH Managing Safely certification.
