Carry out installations and maintenance of UPS systems to ensure reliable power supply during emergencies.
Install, test, and service sprinkler alarms to ensure effective operation in case of fire incidents.
Implement and maintain evacuation alert systems to facilitate safe evacuation procedures during emergencies.
Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal system placement and configuration.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for fire alarm, UPS, sprinkler alarms, and evacuation alert systems.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and to specifications.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including installation documentation, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements: Proven experience in installing and maintaining fire alarm systems, UPS installations, sprinkler alarms, and evacuation alert systems.
Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., BS 5839, BS 5266, etc.).
Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2, 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, or equivalent.
Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Willingness to travel nationwide for project deployments.
Full UK driving license.
