Are you naturally very attentive to technical details and a strong communicator?
Then you may be perfect for our global support team! Our ideal candidate will be thoroughly involved in all technical aspects of our trading system and client support interactions, including first line client support, monitoring and assessing trades in real-time, consulting institutional clients on their execution, and analysing clients’ algorithmic order flow.
This position is ideal for candidates with 3 - 5 years of experience in electronic trading support or algorithmic trading system support.
Required Skills:
● 3 - 5 years of experience working in a trading or IT environment
● Linux command line skills (trace logs, update configs, investigate host utilization, troubleshooting skills)
● Solid Scripting skills – Bash, Shell or Python
● Ability to handle pressure while troubleshooting real-time trading systems
● Ability to relay information between technical and non-technical individuals
● General market knowledge (VWAP/TWAP, order types, volatility)
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
Suggested / Preferred Skills:
● Experience working in a “follow-the-sun” support environment
● Knowledge of exchange traded futures and fixed income markets
● Working knowledge of FIX and ability to perform FIX Certifications
● Knowledge of electronic trading systems
● Experience working with tick, trade, and order databases
