My client is seeking ambitious sales professionals to help them grow their footprint and client base across the Scottish market. Established for over 40 years, the company is one of Scotland's leading independent media companies with a wide array of high-profile B2B and consumer titles and events on its roster. The position is based at the company's bright, modern, and spacious offices in the heart of the Clyde Gateway regeneration. Located in the east-end of Glasgow, this creative hub is a short hop away from Glasgow Green and the hip coffee shops and bars of the Dennistoun, Gallowgate and Merchant City neighbourhoods.
How you will contribute:
Qualify strategic selling opportunities and target markets/clients
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline by proactively driving activity via self-generated opportunities as well as by following up on marketing leads
Personally develop, own and execute an ambitious new client acquisition plan in your territory
Develop, manage and constantly improve on your personal lead generation through proactive networking via digital and face-to-face channels and events
Take ownership of your territory as if it was your own business by constantly improving on activity and conversion
The ideal skills for this are:
At least 9 months experience in B2B sales
Proven track record in generating new business through cold calling, LinkedIn, & email
Enthusiastic approach and great telephone manner
A confident communicator, able to sell consultatively and tailor converting solutions for clients
Excellent command of English - second languages a strong plus
