Area Sales Manager
The Role: The Area Sales Manager will be covering the region of the 'South West' which incorporates Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Taunton, and Swindon. In this role the Area Sales Manager will be selling a market-leading array of ground shoring, formwork/falsework, propping & jacking, and temporary bridging solutions on a hire basis into Main Contractors & Civil Engineering businesses working on a host of construction & infrastructure projects. The Area Sales Manager will be inheriting a region that has great growth potential, this is reflected in the bonus structure which is based on 1% of all sales turnover on an uncapped basis which means there is a lot of scope to increase your earnings in a big way.
The Area Sales Manager will have a superb back-office support function to help be successful. Our client have a fabulous in-house Design team who can turn quotes around quickly when they come in, a great marketing team, and Hire Controllers at each of their regional depots who can support on delivery of equipment when a sale is agreed.
The Company: Our client are a market-leader in their field and they boast the largest stockholding of product in the UK than any of their competitors, in addition to a dedicated installation team who operate nationally separating them from the rest of the market. They are a business who are investing heavily in their induction, onboarding, and ongoing training processes and do a lot to push internal promotions where possible.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Field sales experience within the construction sector
Have a track record with new business and account management
Have sold a technical, or design led, construction solution
Full & Clean Driving licence
Are verse in selling direct to end users
Salary: £42,000 Basic Salary + up to £7,000 Bonus year one (actual OTE is £12,000), Company Car (Hybrid options), 25 days plus stat, pension 10% with a 5% contribution, healthcare, PMI
Candidate Location: Bristol, Bath, Gloucester
