Role: Director of Medical Technology, Business Development
Location: St. Ives, Cambridge (with international travel)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate a business pipeline with potential annual value of circa £5m, focusing on medical devices, diagnostics, and life sciences instruments.
Establish and nurture relationships with new clients and industry influencers.
Deepen existing strategic account relationships, collaborating across teams.
Tailor client solutions aligned with strategic objectives through close collaboration with the technical team.
Drive negotiations and close significant long-term partnerships.
About You:
Demonstrated success in business development and sales of consultancy services.
Degree in Physics, Engineering, Electronics, or Business-related fields.
Established professional with credible standing within the Cambridge cluster or similar ecosystems
Deep knowledge of product development within the medical technology, healthcare or life sciences sectors.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
Motivated, autonomous, with a proven ability to drive business growth.
