The role is as follows:
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections on components, sub-assemblies, and finished products using various tools.
Ensure compliance with quality control procedures at all production stages.
Document defects and collaborate on corrective actions.
Maintain accurate inspection records for process improvement.
Manage equipment calibration for precision.
Investigate quality issues and contribute to improvement projects.
Assist in creating and updating quality control documentation.
Train staff on inspection methods.
Communicate findings clearly to teams.
Undertake additional tasks as required.
Qualifications/Skills:
Experience in EMS or electronics manufacturing inspection.
Understanding of electronic components and assembly processes.
Proficiency with inspection tools.
Detail-oriented with technical drawing interpretation skills.
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC610).
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Computer skills for data analysis and reporting.
Self-motivated with manufacturing experience preferred.
This role would suit someone with electronics experience who is keen to move in to a more quality focused role.
