Duties and responsibilities:
Supporting the existing finance and accounts team
Assisting with preparing monthly prepayments and accruals
Assist with preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
Posting of cash book journals and bank reconciliations
Assisting with maintaining the fixed asset registers and posting of depreciation
Prepare and post ad hoc payments as required
Preparation and positing of the spreads journal to allocate shared costs
Assist in the reconciliation of intercompany balances each month
Assist in the distribution of petty cash to services around the business
Provide support during the annual audit process
Provide support on the sales ledger as and when required
Skills and experience required:
Experience working in an Accounts/ Purchase Ledger role
Enthusiastic and positive nature
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience using Sage (Desirable)
Ability to work to tight deadlines
