Development and Production Lead Engineer Role profile: Key responsibilities: Start the research program to develop Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) products for new applications for long term development of the business.
Implement manufacturing processes to automate the manufacture and packaging of our current product range
Ensure efficient stream of product purchases in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager
Maintain and improve on our ISO, HAPAS, HACCP and Lloyds of London qualifications
Ensure development is based on sustainable inputs with ecological awareness of waste materials
Prepare scaled up operational setup for delivery of new products to market
Reporting of R & D progress to board level
Person profile: Laboratory and research experience producing MMA
Experience of translating product manufacture from laboratory to industrial production
Can manage time independently
Team player and ability to lead
Methodical with research and documentation
Has contributed doctoral thesis or published research papers in reference to MMA and applications
Salary & Benefits: £65,000+
Discretionary bonus of up to 10% of salary per annum
