They are offering a very competitive: base salary up to £38000 depending on experience + Hybrid working (1 day from home), on site gym, subsidised canteen & onsite parking.

As the finance manager, Responsible for managing the accounts receivable function and the accounts payable function of the finance team (team of 4 staff).

You would be required to drive forward cross training (AP and AR) and to constantly maintain standards of work and communicate clearly expectations and be knowledgeable to assist with any queries direct reports may have in regards to work, and report timely into the financial controller.

Accounts Payable Management

Overseeing the accounts payable function

Responsible for the analysis of dissecting aged creditor reports

Responsible for dealing with any issues that may arise from AP direct reports

Accounts Receivable Management

Overseeing the accounts receivable function

Responsible for the analysis of dissecting aged debtor reports

Managing a weekly call with the CFO to communicate progress and any issues that may have arisen

Responsible for dealing with any issues that may arise from AR direct reports

Further Finance duties

VAT 100 creation, reconciliation and quarterly submission

Month end duties including inter-company reconciliations, full bank reconciliations for both companies and preparation of the credit card accrual figure

Month end reporting on accounts payable and receivable figures leading on to balance sheet reconciliations post-month end involving investigation into all postings

Expenditure statement preparation for senior management, resolving all queries that arise

Ensuring annual PDR's for all direct reports through the Lattice system are completed and objectives are set accordingly and monitored throughout the year

Desired Profile:

AAT accreditation is highly desirable - Preferably level 4

Relevant working experience in a finance function.

Intermediate user of Excel (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables).

Background with AP and AR management is essential

Strong IT knowledge, preferably with exposure Dynamics 365
