Day to Day of the role of a Motor Vehicle Lecturer :
Develop and implement comprehensive schemes of work and lesson plans with clear objectives.
Deliver engaging lessons and manage classroom and online learning effectively.
Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records in line with College policies.
Serve as an Academic Progress Tutor, mentoring students and supporting their academic journey.
Contribute to the College’s quality assurance processes, including self-assessment and lesson observations.
Perform administrative duties related to the programme, including student guidance and event participation.
Provide academic, pastoral, and personal support for learners, potentially acting as Programme Manager.
Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Motor Vehicle Lecturer :
A recognised teaching qualification e.g PCGE, DET, Cert education ect
Assessors qualification TAQA, CAVA, Assessors award
Ability to inspire, develop, support, and challenge learners.
Strong planning and organisational skills with a focus on delivering high-quality education.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry and educational trends.
Understanding and application of safeguarding, equality, and diversity principles in an educational setting.
