About the role
Within this role you will be delivering all aspects of revenue management for a cluster of hotels within the Cairn Group, across muptiple brands and PMS systems. Maximizing revenues, profit contribution and market share using revenue management techniques, systems and processes. Working closely with hotel teams to implement agreed pricing and strategies. You will also be reporting into the revenue Director.
You'll be delivering effective pricing for all market segments, including conference and working closely with area and hotel teams to maximize top line delivery. You will maintain strong links with the commercial function (sales, marketing and PR), and provide insight and information that drives commercial activity.
Other key responsibilities will include effectively generating room and C&E forecasts and budgets, forecasting accurately to meet agreed targets, maximizing RevPar and TrevPar, provide direction on future rate setting decisions and negotiation, monitor competitor pricing, ensure high quality and optimal representation in all distribution channels and work closely with pricing, strategy and reporting teams to capture insight, analysis and recommendations to drive top line delivery.
Location - this role can be fulfilled remotely or from within one of our hotels.
About you
You will have strong communication skills and an excellent command of the English language with the ability to present well, and influence key stakeholders. You'll have the ability to plan an prioritise, and multi-task as you will be managing a cluster of our sites. You should enjoy working independently and without constant supervision, have a results orientated track record with a positive attitude to deliver the best results. It's also important to understand the internal and external customer needs, have a cultural awareness about you and a strong commercial outlook both revenue and sales focused.
