Telesales Team Manager

An exciting and unique opportunity is on offer to set up a new Telesales/account management team in an established forward thinking carbon neutral company based in West Yorkshire.

Fusion is looking for a candidate who can think strategically and relishes the challenge of creating and supporting a brand-new operation. The successful candidate will have experience in recruiting, coaching team members to reach their potential and be able to motivate a team to achieve their sales and account management goals.

The scope of the team’s role is varied and involves both outbound contacts and inbound account management, each person will be fully empowered to devise their own approach and won’t be faced with restrictions and limitations as this is an unscripted environment.

We think you’ll find it a fresher, modern way of managing a team, we will give you the freedom to recruit, train and lead a team that will be promoting products and services that our customers really want and need.

We offer flexible working hours and days to suit you and your team. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between 9-5pm, there will be no evening, weekend, or bank holiday shifts as we know how valuable this time is.

We don’t believe in micromanagement, instead we give you the autonomy to shape the operating rhythm of the team.

Once you’ve joined our team, you’ll get a full understanding of what we do, background to our customers, the Fusion culture, and our values, thus enabling you to recruit the right people for the role. Once the team is established, your main priority will be training and supporting the team to achieve the most out of their contacts and give the best experience possible. All contact data is recorded and held in a CRM tool, which will give you the information needed to maximise the team’s potential.

Key responsibilities

Recruitment, induction and establishing a new Telesales team.

Managing and co-ordinating team workflow.

Development, coaching and mentoring of team members.

Working closely with senior management to understand current trading conditions disseminating the information to your team and tracking performance.

We’re always looking for ways to enhance the service we provide; you’ll have the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas and help with implementing the solutions we select.

Qualifications and skills necessary for the ideal candidate

Previous experience in a managerial role within a Telesales or similar environment.

Strong leadership and communication skills at both team and senior leadership level.

Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, creative thinking in an industry that is fast paced and agile, able to adapt to change.

Familiarity with industry specific tools and software, e.g. CRM would be helpful, but full training will be given.
