Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a company in Bradford who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their small and friendly team. You will carry out Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties. There is opportunity to learn new skills and develop within the business. Hours: 8:30 – 4:30 Monday-Thursday, 8:30-4:00 Friday
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process invoices, ensuring timely payments
Follow up on overdue invoices and late payments
Reconcile company accounts
Bank reconciliations
Communicate with clients and customers to resolve queries
Prepare and enter journals
Payroll duties for a small team
Maintain accurate financial records
Ad hoc duties, filing documents, answering phone calls and handling emails
You will need to demonstrate:
Experience with Purchase and Sales Ledger
Qualified through experience or AAT level
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience using an accounting software
Some payroll experience (desirable)
