Our client is an established, well-known and successful private equity firm. As part of its ongoing commitment to develop and professionalise the support functions, we are looking to hire a newly or recently qualified ACA into a Fund Accountant role within the finance team.
The role will offer exposure to all financial aspects of the firm's funds and investments with a strong element of commercial support. Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing quarterly financial statements for the funds and annual financial statements for subsidiaries prepared by the fund administrators
Reviewing quarterly investor reports for the funds
Maintaining and developing the financial models to help the business understand actual and forecast fund returns
Review of regular cash flow forecasts for all funds to ensure drawdowns and distributions can be managed correctly
Working closely with the Insights team to produce bi-annul valuations packs of investee companies
Reviewing monthly management reporting prepared by external accountants
Liaising with the auditors regarding the audit of the annual accounts for the funds and all subsidiaries
The successful candidate will be a recently qualified ACA from a Big 4, Top 10 or Mid Tier practice firm. We may also consider someone 1-2 years into a Fund Accountant role with another Private Equity firm in London.
