The Company: Our client is a leading provider of surveying services catering to estate agents across the United Kingdom. With a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service, they strive to deliver high-quality surveying solutions tailored to the needs of their clients.

The Position: As a Business Development Manager, you will play an important role in driving growth and fostering long-term relationships with estate agents throughout the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell surveying services while serving as a dedicated ambassador for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Selling Surveying Services: Utilise your expertise and persuasive skills to effectively communicate the value proposition of surveying services to estate agents.

Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture a portfolio of 300+ contacts dispersed across various geographical locations in the UK. Develop and maintain strong relationships with estate agents to drive repeat business and referrals.

Ambassadorship: Serve as a representative of the business, embodying their values and commitment to excellence in every interaction with clients and prospects.

Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs and challenges of estate agents, and tailor the surveying solutions to address their specific requirements. Provide expert advice and guidance to help clients make informed decisions.

Client Visits: Arrange and conduct visits to estate agents' offices across different geographical locations in the UK. Present the services, address any questions or concerns, and negotiate contracts to secure new business opportunities.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to surveying services and estate agency practices. Use insights gathered to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.

Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts using a CRM system. Generate regular reports to track progress towards sales targets and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the real estate or property services industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.

Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on delivering value-added solutions to clients.

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Willingness to travel extensively to visit clients in different geographical locations throughout the UK.
