Day-to-day of the role:
Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN
Assisting teachers in the delivery of lessons and adapting materials as needed
Supporting students with physical and personal care, as required
Monitoring and recording student progress and communicating this to teachers and parents
Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in SEN support (e.g. NVQ, CACHE)
Experience working with students with SEN, either in a paid or voluntary capacity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient and supportive approach
