They are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost management and procurement activities for their fit-out projects in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the commercial and contractual aspects of fit-out projects from inception to completion.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Procure subcontractors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships.
Monitor project costs, track variations, and implement cost control measures.
Conduct valuations, payments, and final accounts in accordance with contract terms.
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management.
Resolve commercial disputes and claims in a proactive and efficient manner.
Mentor and support junior members of the quantity surveying team.Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
