Responsibilities of the Human Resource Assistant: All administrative aspects of the Human Resource department, including paperwork, minutes, document preparation, scheduling meetings, audits, and letters.

Assist in preparing offer letters and employment contracts.

Dealing with any investigations and grievances/ disciplinaries.

Keep on top of the time management system.

Conducting inductions for new employees, assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.

Right to work checks for new employees.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by regularly auditing and verifying information.

Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing routine queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

Help organize training sessions and workshops for employees.

Maintain training records and track employee participation.

Stay informed about employment laws and regulations.

Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Data analysis of retention and sickness - follow up calls for people off sick, return to work meetings.

Requirements of the Human Resource Assistant: A degree or relevant experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Prior experience in an HR related role is required.

Experience within a manufacturing environment is beneficial.

CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
