We are seeking a patient, caring Support Worker to look after a 13-year-old with cerebral palsy who is non-verbal.The role includes personal care and manual handling and supporting her in her day-to-day life. We are searching for a Support Worker who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn’t have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences.Initially, this is a temporary role with the opportunity to be employed permanently after an initial trial period. Please note that previous experience in complex care and a driver’s license is required for this role. Our client lives with cerebral palsy, blindness, scoliosis and double incontinence and is non-verbal.

Support with hoisting, personal care, toileting, and peg feeding.

Successful Applicant: Must have previous experience with clients living with cerebral palsy and requiring complex care, as well as experience with peg feeding.

Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, weekends).
