Our client is a trusted provider of damage restoration solutions, committed to delivering exceptional service while prioritizing the safety and well-being of our employees and clients. We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to lead our health and safety initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and method statement development to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Provide expert guidance and support to management and staff on health and safety matters.
Deliver engaging health and safety training programs to promote awareness and best practices.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of health and safety activities.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in the restoration or construction industry.
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing method statements.
Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are advantageous.
Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and regulations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
