JOB DESCRIPTION
The following job description sets out the duties which the Mobile Plumber / Pipefitter is to provide personally within the Company. The duties included for each job description are not exhaustive and further requirements may be added, flexibility in your job will be required.
You are required to travel to and work at various Schools within Birminghamas the Company shall reasonably require for the proper performance of your duties.
SALARY: £19.50 per hour
HOURS: 6am/2pm - 10am/6pm - one week alternating shifts
Candidates MUST have an Enhanced DBS
Mobile Device with PDA app, Electric Van and uniform PPE all provided.
Main Duties:
Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes or pipe fittings, using hand or power tools.
Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
Locate and mark the positions of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers or levels.
Measure, cut, thread or bend pipe to required angle using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines.
Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers...
