We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional haircare and colour brand education manager to oversee our education and training for our salon professional customer base.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hairdressing, along with proven experience in managing and developing educational programs and team management.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Education Manager.
Requirements....
Develop and implement comprehensive brand education training programs for hairdressers including program design, lesson planning and assessment strategies.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the education department including the management of the bookings system.
Manage a team of educators providing guidance and support.
Collaborate with industry experts and professionals to stay updated on trends and techniques and best practices in the industry.
Develop and manage budgets, resources, and timelines for educational initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing to promote educational programs and attract new participants.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A commitment to continuous personal development.
Professional certification in hairdressing – minimum NVQ level 2
Maintains a strong online presence through social media platforms, sharing educational content and staying connected with the salon professional community.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a hairdressing or haircare and/or colour brand education manager or similar role.
Proven experience in a leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of hairdressing and colour techniques, products, tools, and industry trends.
Strong understanding of professional hairdressing adult learning methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Experience of course creation, planning, and assessment strategies.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals.
Proficient in MS Office 365.
Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing
Bachelors degree in hairdressing, education or related field preferred but not essential.
