Job Role: Overseeing classes of 25 - 30 students while they complete work that has been previously set for them by an absent teacher, across all year groups and subjects.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Working within KS3 and SK4 students across all subjects
Delivering content to groups of 25 - 30 students
Feeding back to teachers, monitoring academic progress and group behaviour
Willing to work with students in who need additional academic support
Liaising with department leaders to devise effective student outcomes
Candidate Requirements:
Is a competent with teaching & content delivery with at least one years' experience
Has an understanding of supporting pupils academic progress, across a wide range of subjects
Has excellent communication skills and can build relationships quickly
Is capable of controlling groups of students, using the schools behaviour policy to manage challenging behaviours
Will be reliable and consistent, showing commitment to raising the standards across the school
Is dedicated to working with various departments to ensure attainment levels remain consistently high
