LTF recruitment are seeking to appoint a dedicated graduate, looking to begin a career within education. This amazing opportunity is based in a positive and thriving secondary school located in the Birmingham area. This is an outstanding opportunity for a graduate to develop their skills in a supportive environment with exceptional facilities, where the best possible education is provided. The ideal candidate would be a compassionate and caring individual with aspirations to build a career within education.
The role/ responsibilities:
Support students to develop academically, socially and emotionally to work towards their best possible outcomes
Provide support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups delivering effective and appropriate interventions to improve essential skills
Adapt learning to ensure that it is accessible to all students
Keep track of student progression and key targets by liaising with the class teacher and SENCO
Provide general support to the classroom teacher by preparing the classroom/resources
Requirements:
Have a positive and can-do attitude towards supporting students
A passion and desire to work within education
Experience within a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential
Be an effective communicator, able to work closely with students, staff and parents
An enhanced DBS and two references
