Job Title : Fire Risk Assessment Manager
Location : Harlow / Essex
Salary : £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Car Allowance : £5000.00 per annum (or company car if preferred)
Car Mileage Allowance : 45p per mile
Annual Bonus : 10% of salary (depending on performance)
Working Hours : 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch
Hybrid Working : Yes, 3 days in the office & 2 days from home (commences after training period)
Holiday : 26 days (25 days holiday plus birthday day) plus 8 Bank Holiday days
Parking : Free parking on-site with overflow parking off-site, a short walk from the office
Dress Code : Business casual with casual dress-down day on Fridays

Job Description :
An established Security & Fire Company in Harlow, Essex, is seeking a Fire Risk Assessment Manager to join our management team, reporting to the Operations Director.
The role entails reviewing fire risk assessments and implementing recommendations.
The Fire Risk Assessment Manager will use industry knowledge to interpret assessment findings, decide on necessary actions, and ensure timely completion of rectification works.
This role involves coordinating with various departments for task allocation, tracking works from quotation to billing, and managing the workload of the Fire Risk Assessment Administrator. Keeping track of outstanding actions and ensuring they're within acceptable levels is a key responsibility.
Key Skills/Experience Required :
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Fire & Life Safety Systems industry
Essential knowledge of Active Fire Life Safety Systems
Familiarity with relevant British Standards for Fire Alarms (BS5839-1 and BS5839-6), Smoke Vent Systems (BS7346-8), Emergency Lighting Systems (BS5266), and Evacuation Alert Systems (BS8629) is highly desirable
NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management qualification or completion of FIA fire industry training courses is desirable
Ability to supervise staff and make department decisions
Strong ownership, responsibility, and deadline management skills
Commitment to delivering high-level customer service
Proficiency in prioritizing workloads for oneself and others
Strong IT skills including Outlook, Excel & Word
Financial awareness acquired in a contract management or service delivery role is preferred
