Based in London and surrounding areas of the UK, as a Field Service Engineer, your role will involve servicing and repairing domestic and commercial Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points within your assigned territory. We're seeking qualified electricians who are quick learners and take pride in their work. Full training on products will be provided.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Servicing and repairing EV charging points, including fault finding and diagnosis.
Ensuring correct identification of installation types.
Ensuring compliance with electrical regulations.
Adhering to established site processes.
Participation in an on-call rotation for emergencies.
Qualifications:
Experience in servicing and repairing EV charging points, with strong fault diagnosis skills.
Qualified electrician with electrical maintenance experience.
Possession of a JIB-recognized UK competency-based qualification (Electrotechnical Level 3 NVQ or formal UK electrotechnical apprenticeship).
ECS card (Maintenance Electrician or Electrician).
Valid driving license.
Experience in handling AC/DC voltages safely and executing isolation procedures.
Strong organizational and planning skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to build relationships.
