An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join a growing global real estate investment, management, and development firm based in London. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct timely month-end closing and inter-company reconciliation.
Review accounts from outsourced service providers.
Business partner with asset managers.
Prepare monthly management reporting, bank reconciliation, and quarterly audit schedules.
Ensure the timely preparation of a full set of financial statements for audit.
Handle tax matters, including VAT and corporate/income tax.
Oversee budgeting and forecasting; maintain internal control and compliance.
Serve as a key driver for the implementation of Group policies, processes, and systems.
Perform credit reviews for potential tenants and suppliers.
Provide financial project management support for asset management initiatives and development projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Recently or Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Good knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS.
Ideally 1-2 years of real estate experience in the sector.
Proficiency in MS Excel.
Experience liaising with various parties such as HQ Finance Team, local Asset Management Team, external consultants, auditors, and external property managers/operators.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on, problem-solving approach, with a keen eye for detail.
Responsible, well-organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
