As a People Assistant you will provide timely and accurate people operations support to the Operations and Management teams. Ensuring that administrative tasks are processed efficiently, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Assisting the People Team identify and help create solutions to gaps in core processes.

Individual Champion programme acting as an ambassador of your brand and representing your team.
Responsibilities:
Responding to first line queries and advising/signposting as necessary and escalating when required
Promote and champion a healthy, positive work environment across the wider business
Dealing with all queries fairly and consistently
Supporting the coordination of training and company induction for new Management and Central Support
Ensuring accuracy of all necessary employee information on the HR system (personal information, Proof of Eligibility etc.)
Maintenance of employee filing systems including compliance right to work checks and visa alarms. File auditing and ensuring files are kept up to date.
Sending out of management contracts and onboarding documents and variations of terms
Responding to employment reference requests
Assisting with management of HR Systems, including Applicant Tracking System, Right to Work Checking
Processing of Fitness for Work Statements, Maternity/Paternity/Shared Parental Leave
Assisting Payroll team with payroll queries as required
Ad-hoc reporting as required
Ad-hoc projects when required
Attributes:
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent administrative skills
Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Team player and willingness to help out when needed
A genuine interest for the people in the business and their welfare
Eager to learn new things
Ability to manage, organise and prioritise workloads
Forward thinking ability to contribute new ideas and ways of working
Desirable:
HR experience in a similar role
Basic understanding of employment law and HR processe
