Due to continued growth we are looking for 2 apprentices to join our IT team based in Edinburgh where you will provide internal and external clients with first level support.
Responsibilities:
Providing internal and external clients with first level support
Assisting with internal and external client equipment builds and support
Resolving problems to the end user’s satisfaction
Monitoring the helpdesk ticket queue and prioritise appropriately
Escalating unresolved tickets to the next level support
Assisting with onboarding and offboarding of users
Maintaining internal equipment asset records
Desirable skills:
Strong interest in technologies and concepts
Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and email communication
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
A positive “can do” attitude
Be ambitious and self-motivated
Strong team player with problem-solving and analytical skills
Keen to learn and share knowledge
Able to work to tight schedules and deadlines
Salary:
£18,000 per annum
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.
On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
