The ideal candidate will take control of their kitchen, working closely with the Executive Chef to create exceptional dining experiences for their guests. Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Exec Chef to plan and execute menus that showcase seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
* Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high culinary standards.
* Lead and mentor the kitchen brigade, providing guidance and support to junior chefs and kitchen staff.
* Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
* Monitor food preparation, presentation, and portioning to meet quality and portion control standards.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
* Contribute to menu development, bringing creative ideas and innovative techniques to enhance the dining experience.
