Day-to-day of the role:
Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with diverse needs in a residential setting.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment, fostering a calm and respectful atmosphere.
Encourage and support residents’ participation in a range of activities.
Administer medication and maintain accurate records in line with organisational policies.
Monitor residents’ well-being and report any concerns to appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in a residential support or care role is highly desirable.
Passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and promoting independence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Team player with the ability to also work independently.
Flexibility to work sleep-in shifts and occasional night shifts.
Positive attitude, resilience, and adaptability.
Knowledge of relevant care regulations and best practices.
